    AW4 with no TPS?

    I am going to attach the TV cable, I know that the TPS controls shift points and torque converter lockup. I am wondering if the transmission will get too hot if the tps isn't hooked up and I manually shift because the torque convertor will not lock up when needed.

    I am going to run an AW4 behind a carb'd 4.0 in my YJ, will it cause any transmission damage if I run it shifting manually with no tps connected? This will be just until I get around to fabbing a tps bracket off the carb. Thanks

    242 Clocking Ring Spacer

    Teraflex customer support emailed me back, didn't expect an answer from them today. They say it will work on an AW4, and that it moves the seal 1/2". For anyone trying this later on, it is Teraflex SKU: 2904400.

    I found this http://www.teraflex.biz/automatic-seal-extension.html It states for 3 speed automatics, any idea if it will work for a AW4? As far as the lost spline engagement, I hope that losing 3/8" of spline engagement isn't enough to worry about stripping the shaft.

    242 Clocking Ring Spacer

    I installed a 3/8" thick clocking ring between my AW4 and np242, now I need a spacer for the seal so it doesn't pour out transmission fluid. Does anyone have a source? Thanks

    Putting a novak shifter on my 242, and I noticed this hole wasn't plugged. Anybody know what is supposed to be there? It's from a 92 xj. Thanks in advance

    Might be a stupid question, but please help

    To bypass the factory alarm system, remove the panel from the rear hatch- there is a sensor on the key switch with three wires going to it, splice two of the wires together.

    F**king Security Alarm

    I had a problem with the alarm on my 92 limited, I removed the panel from the rear hatch and spliced the two wires going to the lock cylinder together. This disables the factory alarm system, remote locks still work.
