You can choose fronts ONLY or rears ONLY!!! :wierd:

Rusty's Steel Fender Flares are $399 for the front, $459 for the rear, or all four corners for $799!

Rusty's steel fender flares are the direct result of customer requests for better, more unique body armor for the XJ Cherokee, and we delivered! Rusty's new XJ Steel Fender Flares are built for hardcore trail use and combine aggressive styling with excellent functionality. The body panels are constructed of 1/8" steel, while the flare portion is 3/16". All of the fender components are laser-cut, CNC formed, and then robotically welded for an exact fit. In fact, the flares are constructed in such a way that there are no welds visible on the exterior, so they have strength and good looks to match! To top it all off, the flares have a durable satin black powdercoated finish and include stainless installation hardware. Whether you're trying to protect your XJ from damage on the trail or need to cover up some existing trail boo-boos, these are a great solution!

The front flares include two inner structures to help further reinforce the assembly, enough that the flares are strong enough to jack up the vehicle with a Hi-Lift Jack if necessary! The flares provide an additional 3.5" of tire clearance over the stock fender openings.

The rear flares incorporate a tube that acts as a slider to protect the quarter panels and rear quarter windows from trees and other obstacles. They also open up the fender well all the way to the inside pinch weld for additional tire clearance to match the front.

Can we get more pictures from the ends of the XJ please. Or maybe post installation instructions?
I just sent you guy's an email with questions. Am I going to be first to try these? Yeehaw. Been hammering JeepTubes and no responses..

What's the measurement from the flat panel to the outside edge of the flare, front and rear (tire coverage)? Would you recommend the edges be sealed to keep mud/water from between the panels and the factory body panel? I just picture infection of rust.

Also, do we need to access the inside of the rear body panel for installation? Nuts & bolts or screws? Either is fine with me, just curious. Access to the installation instructions from your website might be helpful.

Thanks for bringing these to market.

Weird, we haven't got any e-mails on info asking about instructions, we are working on more pictures too, we are sending a lot of these out and asking all to send pictures so hopefully soon. :D

We are in the process of getting the instructions up right now too. Once it goes live I will update this thread.

Working on a measurement, as for the mud getting between, same as all flares out there it can happen , we have often use a bead of silicone and it seems to work very well, just apply very little. It can get sticky. :laugh3:

PDF Instructions are up on Rusty's website.

I would be interested in a full set if you could make them for a 2 door

Can you get these with out the big R in them. I mean i know you want people to see who made them an all, but why am i paying top dollar to advertise for you?

Not trying to start a fight. I have bought stuff from you and i run your stickers.

Just asking.
Thank you for your time

X2, really like the look of those and the concept, but would not buy them with the logo in it. I'm not in the business of free advertising. Just look at the cable companies, there you have to pay for posting a commercial and for watching it.
The same would be with any other company out there.

Finished the install of the Rusty's fronts a couple days ago and have the rear fenders trimmed and rolled with urethane sealing it all (3M windshield sealant), taped off, and marked for holes. Just waiting on a volunteer to help me hold them in place and do final fitment, drill and then bolt'em up. I really like the look of the front so far but I think once all 4 are in place my 31x10.50 are gonna look like donuts.
Installed Napier hood vents today while waiting for the aforementioned 'volunteer'. (I have a single cab pickup and can fit ALL my friends in it, with room for my 80lb border collie/lab mix.. haha).

I'm no body/sheetmetal guy but with a little assist from my wife getting things lined up it all went very well. I did buy an IR low vibration body saw though.. only way to go.. no way I would want to cut all that sheetmetal with my cutoff wheel. Only issue I had was the uppermost rear bolt (near the front door) did not have room for a nut. Rusty & Tony were super on the phone and have nutserts on the way. Since then I discovered a couple pops with a ballpein hammer on the inner structure (around the hinge) and I gained the necessary clearance for the nut. Point being, customer service was great.
I expect the same good results on the rear. I'm thinking these might make good tie-in points for an EXO cage.

Never hurts to ask!

Understood, but it is pretty common for manufacturers to place their name on body armor.

Hoping to finish up my rears this week and will post pictures.

I can't help myself.. don't take it too seriously please.. just a wisecrack.

Are you guys emailing JEEP to tell them you won't buy their product if they continue to put JEEP logos on them? Maybe that's 'different'.
