Nope. Fully legal and beat a mod/basically unlimited class by 20 min

well, after having the alternator go out at the starting line as we were lining up (charging stud pulled out of the back), they had both front hubs go out and swapped them at the first pit. then the trans started giving them problems before the rear axle finally decided to go banana on them. We gave it a hell of an effort but it just wasn't going to happen this race.

I still had a blast helping with the car, thanks for the opportunity guys :thumbup:

re-tube the axle, truss that mofo for real this time, rebuild that tranny (and the torque converter, those things are weak usually) and get back out there!

i would sure like to see a better pic of that axle where it bent. from my view it looks to be bent right where the truss ended and the shocks are mounted. that is a lot of stress at that point with 2 heavy duty shocks working against you. plus the truss may have weakened the axle tube at the weld point.
