I'm thinking the top 3-5 worst carnage reports can be put to a vote.

Right now I think it's fair to say the following are in the running...

redrider2911: Buckled roof, blown apart hatch, three broken windows

Matt West: Broken D44 shaft going over Chinook Pass

Muddy Beast: Mashed in B pillar from the crack

Ken and Brian have some pretty good reports too. Who else do you think deserves a Carnage Award Nomination?

I don't think body damage really counts therefore I awarded more points to drivetrain breakage which is really what's going to stop someones fun.

Matt West hands down. To snap a shaft on the tail, continue wheeling then loose the wheel cruising on a mountain hwy. I deuced when I saw the pictures.

yea but i believe redrider drove home with a busted sterring column also.

It was all twisted. I had to start it with a screwdriver then when I would turn it would all of a sudden grab, lock, or turn off the engine, losing power everything. So then I taped it up with some packaging tape to stop the center section from turning but had to cut the tape away for when I wanted to reach in there with a screwdriver to turn it off. lol I even did the team chalenge that way.:guitar:

Correct. I was on the drivers side and when it rolled ended up in the passenger side holding onto the steering column. lol I just wanted to show the pictures. Not saying I should win. I would like to know how fast matt west was going when his shaft broke and seperated. I think that the danger involved in the carnage should be considered.

Any objections to just having a contest between Kris (redrider) and Mat (Matt West)?

You have the extreme body damage on one side, and the catastrophic mechanical breakdown on the other.

It's up to you guys to decide who deserves the coveted Carnage Award this year. I'll get a poll going shortly.
