Foglight Switch Mod

Ok, simple mod, just did it to mine. Since I've got the wiring harness
but no foglights anymore, thanks to an errant driver, I figured I'd use
the harness for rocklights. :) Problem is that the fog lights only
work with the headlights which in my case (HID's w E-Code hella
housings) will seer the retinas out of anyone spotting you. So last
night I pulled out the factory wiring manual and the mod is simple...

The foglight switch on my 91 takes power from the light switch via the
Purple/White wire, or in andy's case the Chrome/white wire. So, I cut
that wire a couple inches from the connector on the foglight switch.
Folded the end coming from the head lamp switch back and heat shrunk it
since that's live when the low beams are on. I then took the stub
coming out of the foglamp switch connector and ran about a 6" jumper to
the grey/orange wire going to the headlamp shutoff delay relay. Done.

The grey/orange wire comes from the power distribution block and
supplies power for the headlamp system. So now my foglamp switch works
with the key off. Just have to find another set of those bitching
little 2.5"x1.5" fog lamps for the rear now. Mine's a 91 HO model, so
I'd suspect the wiring colors would be the same for at least the 91-95.

Oh, it's the middle wire on the foglamp plug, and the grey/orange going
into the delay relay has 2 of them going in, just pick one, I used an
inline crimp connector since it's just powering a relay.
