Going to be running the trail mid-week between jamborees.

Just wondering if there is any local "go to" resources or contacts up there we should know about as a back up plan?

just to be clear, I wasn't looking for assistance in running the trail.

I was wondering if there were any resources or contacts in the area in the event we need recovery or repair assistance as a back up plan.

If you can get to cell service and you dont have a HAM post up on the sierra chapter and on pirates rubicon forum if you end up getting stuck.

There is limited cell service on the Rubicon. I think I've had spotty reception with AT&T headed up Walker Hill before Soup Bowl, but I wouldn't count on it. Ham is your best bet. The link Eric posted should have a list of the repeaters used on the trail.
