Anyone seen any water recently?

I heard something about rain on the news but I don't know. I think I saw some drops on the river I drove through to get to work but I can't be sure...

How is everyone fairing? Any crazy pictures or video? I'm guessing the RI and southern MA guys won't be able to respond for a few days.

I'll be the first to say, thank goodness I have a lifted Jeep! :) My town of Peabody, MA is prone to flooding and this time is no different. Luckily my house is very high, but driving to work was interesting.

I guess Volvos can't breath under water either!

That river next to the Jeep used to be a road...

Nope. no water down here. don't know what all the hype is about. :dunno:

I don't want to even venture a guess as to how flooded out the Pine Barrens are. At least it's sunny out today.

Every time the news comes on with clips about the flooding,I'm half expecting a lifted, snorkeled xj to blast by in the background.:spin1:

Out all day yesterday handling flooding calls around town, come home and there is 3 inches of water in the basement with more pouring in from the conduit going out to the garage. now I get to empty the basement and pull up all the carpet

Sounds like an awesome idea anyways, use it as an open-air garage for working on the jeep and hang up bright blue poly tarps if the neighbors complain about the ugly junk :scottm:

A lot of the town I work in (Hudson MA) is very close to flooded or is flooded, but Worcester has been spared for the most part...

... quite a shame, this town could use a good flush. Half the inhabitants and buildings here washing out to sea would be a dramatic improvement.

and did some black trail wheeling on a public road
basically a river washed out around a bridge, and the next mile or so was washed out switchbacks
