Rear seat belt question - 93 XJ

Ok my rear shoulder seat belts in my 93 are no good. Can I put the rear seat belts from a 2000 XJ into mine without any modifications. I email Chrysler and they told me they couldn't answer.

I don't see why not. I'm not sure there's any change in the basics...

I'd check to make sure the bolt pattern is right, and that there isn't any funky new technology like a pre-tensioner in it. I'd grab the matching 'female' part of the belts. That might have changed.

Sorry I don't have anything definite to say; I've never worked on anything newer than 1994!
