Was my DD for 5 years.
Has been sitting for a year.
280K Odometer.
4.0/AW4/231/1997 D30/Welded 8.8/3.55
~6" Lift (springs and spacers). Military wrap rear springs, Poly bushings, ~4" lift, 3" coils and 3" spacers.
Engine runs OK. Has a reman sticker. Had ~160 PSI compression when I checked it a couple years ago. Seemed low on power but may be the gears. Had typical cold lifter tick which would go away in about a minute. Usually used wix or Motorcraft filter, 15w40 summer and 5w40 winter. Spark plugs changed regularly.
Trans shifted fine. Seemed strong and didnt slip. Fluid changed regularly. Had spin on filter and big cooler.
Tcase works.
Ironman adjustable short arms, Bushing style. Low miles (under 2k Id guess)
Floors are fair. Rust around the rear springs under seat, patched in front footwells.
Frame seems ok. Rear rails where a hitch would go could use some reinforcement.
Junk Homemade front bumper, Rear Nates 4x4 bumper doesnt fit right (big surprise).
97+ rear seat.
Durango steering box.
Complete new moog ZJ steering (~500 MI)
New fuel tank, primed and painted.
New fuel pump
Low miles on water pump.
Other misc new parts. Will add as I think of them. Many changed the summer before I rolled it.
Was rolled @40mph on snow. Roof smashed in and hatch wont close. I pulled it up a little with the forklift but gave up. Needs inner fender on drivers side. Started drilling spot welds. Gave up on that too.
Maybe make a good buggy if you have the time/resources, or just use for parts.
Will come with junk 33" tires and ugly 15" aluminum rims. Have new tires on 16" wheels for more money.
Trying to make vacation money for my trip home this winter. 600 OBO. Taking a loss on the new parts.
