question about sender to gauge

Can anyone suggest an alternate part to the $50 that jeep-dealers want for a temp-sending-unit-to-gauge for a 2.8 Liter XJ from 1986 ?
the typical Zone Napa Kragen all suggest a dozen of them, but which one will match my OEM gauge is a complete guess . or will they ?
