Up Country Springs

I have done a search and I really have not found what I looking for. I wanted to get a set of Up country springs. Font and Rear. I just can't figure out the parts catalog descriptions. They give a number and then there are two sets of three letters. I know each combo of letters means different springs, but which ones are for the up country suspension. Can any one help? Below is the info from the catalog.
Thanks
Alex

I don't have the information handy, but I have posted the part numbers for 2000 XJ Up Country springs at least three times, probably more. Other people have quoted them from my posts. Do a search and you should find the info.

Up-Country suspension:

Front shocks: 4897412AC
Front coils: 52001793

Rear shocks: 04886509AA
Rear leafs: 52002392AB

The letters (ex.: ZVK) are used in the built sheet for a particular vehicle.

I’m not sure if the above part numbers are now replaced by new p/n.

Dealership gave me Part number 52001794 (coil) now 52088105 as being Up Country also. Are there more than one #? Which one should I go with? I gave the dealership a vin form a friend of mines 2001 XJ that has Up. Country. It came up with the same reaf leafs, but diff coil number than you posted.

I have a 2000 UpCountry 4.0, AW4, NP231, and the P/N on my coils is 52001793 code GK. I don't have a readable P/N on the leafs.

I don’t know why Chrysler changes their p/n so often on the XJ suspension components.
My posted coil number is definitely the UP-Coutry model, which is approx. 1” taller. That is what I installed on one of my XJs. You can use this number (52001793) or whatever supersedes it now.

Note: I remember seeing XJ built sheets with different left and right spring codes. Maybe your dealership is giving you these alternatives / options.

Ok, they still have that spring # available and I will go with the numbers you recommend. Thanks for all your help.

Thought I would post some updated info on the Up Country springs just in case others neede it. Rear leafs and are still availble. Number 52002392AB Code ZGW/ZVW. But the Font coils number 52001793 are no longer made by Mopar and are no longer avaible in the USA. I did find the other number that is for the Up Country front coils and it is 52001794 Code ZVL/ZGL. These were used on 2001 XJ as I have been told. Hope this helps

This is good news to me. I bought a set of up-country springs and havent installed them yet (lazy) used and they are part 1794. I think they cam off of a 2001 too.

Yeah I just ordered mine. Atleast some numbers are still being produced.

Springs Still Available by Mopar:

Were used on Up Country 2001 Models.

Front Coil #52001794 Code ZVL/ZGL
Rear Leafs #52002392AB Code ZGW/ZVW

And helping to muddy the waters even further: my 2000 Limited came with the Up-Country and towing packages. Up-Country is listed as code AWE on the build sheet; the tow package isn't on there so may have been dealer-installed, but does include the Mopar Class III receiver and tranny cooler. The reason I mention this: I've got different codes for the shocks and springs.

Going by package and description:

SDUP: Heavy-duty suspension w/gas shocks
ZGLP: Spring - Left front
ZGWP: Spring - Left rear
ZVLP: Spring - Right Front
ZVWP: Spring - Left Front

Going by the codes above, there may have been such a thing as an Up-Country with a heavy-duty spring & shock option - which kind of makes me think that the tow package was factory, but isn't on the sheet for some reason. The vehicle's been lifted, but the old shocks & springs went to a friend of mine who helped me out. I'll check with him and see if I can get the numbers off of them; unfortunately, the VIP reports only give codes, not part numbers.

FWIW, the code to delete the rear stabiliser bar was SH8P. Unrelated to the conversation here, but figured I'd throw it out there anyway since some people don't believe that it really was a factory option on the Up-Country package.

Your build codes are correct for the Up Country and they are the same ones that I got off of my firends XJ with Up Country. Looking at his build sheet they are the same and he did have the tow package. It is Code AHT on the sheet. You could of had the tow package installed at the dealer like you said and that would explain why it looks factory, but not on the build sheet.

Possible, but I don't think so.

I have two 2000 XJs -- one is a Classic that was built with Up Country and tow package, the other is a Sport 5-speed that was built with Up Country but doesn't have a factory tow package because of the manual tranny. They have the same spring codes. (And I have purchased a Mopar hitch for the Sport.)

Yep, this is pretty much what I was leaning towards. Still not sure why I've got a different spring code to what was posted here originally, though.
