Go out to start my Jeep up and the soleniod wire is laying against the exhaust manifold (2.8L V6). I am replacing the wire, the soleniod and the starter relay. Is there anything else that could have gotten fried when the wire grounded to the manifold?

Did you test the relay and solenoid?

I would use a jumper wire between the relay and solenoid and if it cranks just replace the wire.

replaced everything always works best :)

I'd rather spend my "extra" money on more guns. When I was younger it was wine, women, and songs! :woohoo:
