lift question

when putting together a lift
i'm adding parts from differant brands.
i can get 3" spring packs in rear,already have 2" coils in front.
if i don't want to buy new coils and just add more height with spacers to the coils,
what size do you guys recomend.?
i think i need more than an 1" spacer , right? cause weight of engine will need more lift?
am i thinking right on this?

No, a 1"spacer will not add any more weight to the current lift springs. 2" springs plus a 1" spacer will net you 3" lift in the front.
