Most likely stock gearing for MJ

Did a search for this, so if its covered im sorry, but I have a line on a 86 4x4 MJ with a 2.8 and a 5 speed, don't know much else about it, what would the possibility of it having factory 4.10s be? I only ask because it is a long drive to go see this thing, and it is in someones old junkyard behind their cornfeilds about 10 miles south of bum!@##ed egypt and I dont want to waste my time if its not a likely candidate for 410s.

Just saw a 2.8 in the JY this last weekend with 4.10's. Not sure what it had for a tranny but the auto I have with that engine has 3.73's

4x4 MJ in 86 came stock with 3.55s. 4.11s were optional at the time.

I don't know how to tell the difference by looking, but but you could jack up the rear end and turn the rear wheel while counting the driveshaft revolutions.
