CB Hook up?

Any Ideas as to how to hook one up that would fit nicelyand clean in the XJ?
I have an old unit that actually is a 23 channel, SWR meter in it, with all the bells and whistles!
Any Ideas?

i dont have a pic of it right now. but i put mine where the ashtray drops down, it looks good and clean to me...

Its out of the way, and the passenger still has leg room. Not too far of a reach to get to it either.

I have the same CB but mine is just to the left of that below the vent but mounted in the exact position

i like this way, i figured it out, and then saw the same mount at rockliz

Here's how I mounted mine. I used some 1/4" x 1/4" angle for the frame and covered it in sheet-metal. You could very easily place your headliner back in place, but I didn't have one anyway.
