So how would you know if your driveshaft u0joints are going out? b/c im getting this grinding sound under me jeep when i slow down to almost a stop, and as i start going from a dead stop it starts to grind but then stops as i speed up. How would i know? or could it be my driveshaft?

climb under and try moving it around.it should have no play in the joints.
but sometimes they can make noise when they are just starting to crap out and not have too much play.
check em out, let us know.
also year, lift, and sye is good too.
could be a few things

98 sport, 4.5" lift, dropped TC no sye, D30, 8.25, 32's

go play around with the driveshaft? b/c that has a little play in it. or what?

O and also i went to the mountains yesterday, and between 55-60 i was getting bad vibs, and ive never gotten vibs before.

check your tabs on the yolk end, if you havent changed them to u-bolts already.
if the d.s. moves even a c hair on the yolk, you be feeling vibes.
at least on mine it did.
