Just did the aa sye and a woody and now I get a little grind when shifting into 4wh. Did I mess something up? I was very careful to make sure I put everything back together. Could something else be worn out? Or did I mess up the shift fork? Any help would be appreciated.

There is a collar that moves when you shift and if you put it on backward it will do that.

Wheres the collar at? Is it on the shaft or somewhere else? Is it one of the ones you take off when doing the sye?

Dont quote me on this but the sychronizer hub nay not be chamfered on one side, this would cause a harsh engagement if it can be installed backwards! Its been a while since I had mine apart!

Yes I was talking about the collar that is moved by the mode fork. It is only chamfered on one side. I put mine on backward on my old TJ and it wouldn't shift out of 4-lo
