Need to change my front wheel uv joints this weekend. Before I start I would like to know the easiest way to do this without a bunch of headaches. Is there any special tools I'll need? What is the best way to remove hub assembly? Any potential problems I may see? This is a 99 xj.

Using the Search function - http://naxja.org/forum/search.php - is always a good idea. Buy the harbor Freight ball joint tool shown in the threads below or rent one, you will save lots of time and frustration. Some body will always post up and say "just use two sockets and a big hammer". Well, after you shoot a socket across the garage like a chrome plated bullet or smash a finger, you will be pleased how well the ball joint tool works.
