Got my Rough Country 3" lift yesterday and it came with some sway-bar drop brackets. I had a Skyjacker 3" on my last XJ but didn't have no drop brackets for the sway-bar....I did have Skyjacker's sway-bar discos for their lift though. I have a set of sway-bar disco (JKS) for a 3" lift on order so.....do I need the drop brackets? Hopefully I'll have time next weekend to put this lift on.

I think the drop brackets are more for when you are still using the stock sway-bar connecting rods with a lift. Most of the quick-disconnectors are made in lengths to accommodate different lift sizes and more or less achieve acceptable geometry. So no need for the drop brackets.

I have em on mine but Im at about 5.5" of lift. I think you would be fine w/o them on a 3" lift.
