Let's say I want to build a waggy 44 for my XJ (I am) and I don't want true high steer, but OTK steering would be nice.....
All the write ups talk of using a chevy small bearing spindle....
Couldn't I just get ford knuckles, spindles, hubs, rotors, and ream the knuckles larger from the top for the one ton tie rod ends? saves having to get the chev stuff which seems was only available from 73-76 and not so easy to find in a small town.
thoughts? the ford knuckles should bolt up (ball joints)to the waggy 44 right?
