30RH or Torqueflite999

I wanted to see if anybody knew anything about the 30RH or TF999 3speed automatic tranny. I read up on wikipedia how they came stock opition for 4.0I6 in wranger and came in 2.5L Cherokee models. They said the tranny is strong enough to hold up to V8 swaps. What im asking is will it bolt up to my 1992 Cherokee with AW4 i don't like not having a opition on not locking the tranny in 1st gear. Its is also a high dollar tranny and the other is cheaper please let me know if this setup will work i figured if it bolted to the wranger 4.0I6 it would bolt to mine.
