non HO renix and HO ?

the heads are different which means the intake and exhaust manifolds are not the same as HO ones. which means the throttle bodies are different. which means the connections and wiring are as well. the internals of the engine are the same for the most part though.

Like most friends, you have to spend time with them. Like was said, externally, a lot can be different - but - lots of folks swap stuff from HO to non-HO and make it work.

Engine internals are a toss up at factory horsepower levels, but with judicious choices, they can at least add reassurance to a stroker build or higher horsepower motor. Searching sites like here, the jeep stoker motor forum, and others will get you all the greasy details. It's easy to find enough to print an entire ream of paper.
