Testing 89XJ

Can anyone tell me what instrument I need to purchase for testing my 1989XJ? All the parts stores around here, just give me the its too old , I don't know, we'll never find one. But with all the code reading that goes on on this site. I have every confidence that there's somebody out there that knows exactly what I need to have. Thanks for all the good info in advance.

The renix computer doesn't store codes...

You need to pm 5-90 on this board. He'll help you with trouble shooting your renix.

Almost everything can be troubleshot with a simple voltmeter on a Renix. PM me and I will send you a link for a manual.
