13mm 12 point sounds familiar, but I haven't had a D30 in 3 years...

Just make sure to get good quality tools, unless you happen to like busted knuckles. Oh, and remember to use a new cotter pin on the axle nut when you put it back together.

That depends on the year of your XJ, and whether those bolts are original. They could be 13mm, 12 point. They could take 8mm allen keys. They could be 1/2", six point.

On all of mine they are 13mm 6 point. The only thing down there I needed a 12 point for were the bolts that hold the hub to the knuckle
