Got a question about a tire with a hole in it....

So a buddy's tire (swamper) has a hole in it thats about as big around as a dime, maybe a nickel. What to do?

Is there any sort of patch that would work on it, or would you have to put a tube in it? Or would you have to just get a new tire?

In the tread or sidewall? If it is the tread, just buy a plug kit and fill it. If it is in the sidewall, you will need to buy a new tire. Sidewall repairs should only be temp to get you off the trail as they are unsafe on the road.

Its in the tread.
