New winching anchor

Started a thread on danforth anchors a couple days ago, but with continued web surfing a came across this new winch anchor from smittybilt. About half the price of a pull-pal. A bit more pricey than a danforth but obviously engineered specifically as a winching land anchor. I may bite on this product.

I would think it would work very well in sand.

I just called smittybilt. They won't be available until late Feb. which will be cutting it close for me as I am planning a early March trip to Moab/Canyonlands.

I like the way it folds up. Stores better than a danforth.
It's a lot cheaper than a Pul-Pal ($130 vs. $200).
