1989 XJ, Daily Driver. Replaced upper arm bushings with OEM bushings.
I have squeaky upper control arm bushings. What causes them to squeak? They arent hard, or grease-soaked. They dont seem to be cracked. One set is fairly new, the other origional. The bushings and front end are tight, no loseness or alignment problems in the front end. I wheel several times a year. I'm not going to replace them just because they are squeaky.
So what causes them to squeak????
