stock headlight wire gauge?

does anyone know what the stock headlight wiring harness gauge is?

I believe it's 14ga. If you're going to be making the new headlight harnesses you were talking about in another thread I recommend using 10ga for all connections to handle the power and increase current capacity.

My '88 XJ is all 16 gauge in the headlight wiring. Yes, go to 12 or 10 gauge
to reduce the voltage drop. And use relays. My stock wiring has 1 volt of drop on low beam and 1.75 on high beam. I currently have OEM Halogen Sealed Beams, H6054. I too am planning an upgrade in the head light harness and head lights.
