I went to Van-Port Rigging Inc. off a neighbor's recommendation. They have the best price in town on shackles, straps, winch line, ect. I bought d-rings with brackets for $5.87 each. They have 5/8" shackles for six bucks. The owner runs the place and she was very nice and helpful. Their web site is van-portrigging.com

Best place for that is a fishing line shop, if your heading up to the north end sometime I can get you one made for pretty cheap up from a shop in Bellingham at any length you want, send me a PM if you want. I can get prices from them at some point, but a rough estimate was around $.75/ft.

Yes, every snatchblock, chain, slung, strap if they don't have it they can get it.

how much were the snatchblocks? what load can they handle?
