was looking at running 31x10.50x15 tires and have a 1 3/4 spacers in the front and working on the rear tommorw will this work or how can i get enough clearence to run them im on a budget here
Yes, it works, but you will have some rubbing on the flairs and the lower control arms.
Without some kind of extended bumpstop on the front, the front tires will remove your flairs though. (think hockey pucks to extend the bumpstops)
I left mine alone.
For the rear..
add a square 2x2 tube with holes drilled for the bolts between the bumpstops and the "frame" and you will be fine.
I ran 31 10.5's on 2" without a major crisis
You will rub a little on the lower control arm. This is easily fixed with a WJ LCA on the right side. http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoWJcontrolarms.htm
As for flair rub, you have tons of options.
New shocks are not completely necessary but provide much better ride
