hey guys i could use your help with this .
i did search but i couldn't come up with a definitive answer so here it goes !

this is going on a 89 xj. i have a 04 wj MC,BB and lines plus a 97 zj proportioning valve . my question is this. will a 97 zj proportioning valve bolt up to my stock lines ? i got all of the lines going from the MC to the proportioning valve and they bolt up fine .will i be able to bolt this in or am i looking at some problems ? everything i read people were just swapping out the internals .why wasn't the zj proportioning valve used ?
ill be doing the rear disk brakes at the same time .

thanks for any and all help !

i think the only difference is the spring

The guts are all that is different and the XJ valve / lines are already bent to the right places.

Piggyback question: Does the ZJ part allow more pressure to the rears? Gojeep's site claimed that the only difference is under hard braking. True or false?
