Hello!

I once again turn to the naxja forum with a question that needs an answer before i can continue my modifications..

I have broken my D35 axle, but got my hands over a fine D44 from a MJ-88 and want to add disc-break and ABS capabilities. Some on my Swedish forum say that what I need is the disc break assembly from a ZJ 94- with D35.
Its probably a direct fit. Is that true?

Please give me some advice and links to other similar projects.

Adding ABS to the D44 is a pain in the butt. It can be done, but it's a lot of work for minimal gain.

There are many threads about adding disk brakes to the D44, so you've got some options there and will have to compare that with what's available locally for you.

Don't forget you're going to need to fab up new spring mounts and shock mounts.
