heater core/tranny cooler

im thinking of running a spare heater core as a tranny cooler....has anyone tried this? anybody have an opinion on doing this??

Nope, I just spent $50 at summit racing and got a brand new B&M trans cooler. Works perfect.

so i guess noone has an opinion on this? lol

I've heard of it being done with evap cores as well but I don't have any further opinions on it.
Where do you plan on mounting it would be the deciding factor IMO. If you have someplace picked out on where mount it and it has good air flow I don't see any downside to it. (I guess thats kind of kind of an opinion)
