gonna have an 8" lift on my 89 xj.yes or no on tera flex revolver shackles?any thoughts?

NO.

When descending hills they tend to unload making for an unstable feeling ride plus they cause bad axle wrap. Not worth it at all in my opinion.

With 8"s of lift, depending on the size of tires you'll be using, you'll probably have more than enough flex and because of the reason stated above, I say, no.

I have them and love them. No problems at all.

They dont unload going down hills. Thats BS.
I've only seen them unload when creeping around, or when there is a lot of torque on the axle while going uphill. They let the springs twist slightly and take off some of the pressure. I'd get them again anyday.

NO .... Ive seen when trying to climp up things the back axle wants to drive under the heep towards the front because the shackle unloads....

not trying to hijack the thread but what about for a closer to stock like trimed fenders an ome or a 3 to 4.5 inch
