Steering Column swap?

Hi Guys, I'm a new member and have a question. Hopefully somebody on here may have an answer.
I have a 91 Cherokee that I'm soon going to turn over to my daughter. (she just started driving) What I'm wondering is if I can put a post-95 column in it to gain an air bag? I'm pretty sure I'd need the electronics associated with it too, but does anybody know if it will "fit". Maybe somebody went the other way and pulled a bagged colomn and put a regular one in for Wheelin?

Not with out all sensors and wiring. it would be VERY hard to do.
but best of luck if you try.
PS you could fire it like ejector seats in aircraft.

Yeah, I never thought of that. She'd think that was the ultimate thrill ride. Those 16 year olds think they're invincible anyway.
