Where the wiring harness plugs into the the fuse block through the firewall, is that connection supposed to be full of greese?

Yes. Dialectric grease stops corrosion & reduces resistance in electrical connections.

Hallo. Do you have problems with it.? Dielectric Silicon Grease is normal transparant. I like to open my connector too for control.:wave1:
also a '92 cherokee.

All dialectric grease isn't silicone. I've seen it commonly in red & grayish. I'm sold on the clear silicone though.

Hallo. I think you are right, but the information in Europe about the dielectric grease is very poor. It is not a normal selling item in toolshops and automotivepartshops. I managed to get Super Lube to try it out.
