swaybar bushing size

I need to replace my swaybar bushings but advance autoparts has 3 different size swaybars listed for the front. my buildsheet print out from jeep does not tell me
is it a 23, 26 or 28mm sway bar
its a 99 sport 4x4 4dr
aside from measureing which I have no way to do how would I know which one it is. is it a year specific thing or was it model specific or just luck of the draw

You have to measure. Take a crescent wrench and close it tight on the sway bar. Then measure the gap in the wrench.

Do you mean you don't have a measuring tape? Borrow one from your kid's pencil box or wife's sewing basket.

Hallo Jeeper I did it. 28mm for a '92. It took me 25 sec.:laugh3:

What I did was goto the local advanced auto parts and they had some calipers and measured it for me and got me the right part..Mine ended up being 28 mm.

I just did my front one on my 98 2 door and it was 26mm which was 1.023in on my caliper.
