engine swap help

I have a 1992 2 door cherokee 4.0L H.O. and I cracked the block by the moter mounts and I'm looking at a engine from a 1997 XJ and I know that the new one is from the newer style jeep cherokee so I know that the wiring harnesses are different as well as the intake manifold. so I was wondering how hard it would be to swap the two out and what I might have to swap over from the old to the new and what kind of problems I might run into. any help would be great because I need to get this done ASAP

Well, you will at least need to use the engine wiring harness, sensors, and PCM from the new one. You might also need the TCU, but I'm not sure about that. I'd start by comparing wiring diagrams from the two model years. GreatLakesXJ. com is a good source for info in their tech section.
