I installed the MSD-6 offroad ignition earlier this year. Everything worked great until a couple weeks ago when my jeep wouldn't start. I bypassed the ignition and it started but my tach stopped working. I thought maybe there was a bad connection where I tapped into the tach wire so I tried to fix it. For some reason when I don't connect the MSD tach wire, My tach works, but when I try to tie it in, my tach stops working. I thought at first that the bad connection caused my msd to fail, but now I'm not sure if it is just a bad unit that is causing the tach to fail. any ideas?
