Parking Brake Handle?

So I broke the little button some time ago, but I decided it's finally time to fix it. I was at the salvage yard today (grabbing something else) and decided to take a look at it. I took out the center console, and found only one little bolt (8mm or smaller) I didn't have that size wrench with me, but what else is required in removing it?

I searched but didn't find anything about removing this... but maybe I just lack in the searching department upstairs.
