highspeed troubles

So im dumbfounded, when driving on the highway and im trying acclelerate with the pedal close to the floor and then when i get so a certain point the car seams to miss fire. it feels like the car loses power then one piston will fire and the car will jump then stop then pull and so on. any ideas

You should be able to pull some codes. Is your MIL on?

Is it shifting ok? Is a more gradual acceleration (not to the floor) ok?

Sounds like Thottle Postion Sensor going bad.

meant pushed to floor just to give a reference of how far the pedal is and how close it is to the floor,

i think its the crankshaft position sensor
