Its usually inside the jeep...behind the passenger lower dash piece below the glove box

its a small silver Box about the size of your hand...i know thats where my 91 TCM is but im not sure if the newer jeeps are diffrent.

I thought after 96 the tranny was controlled by the PCM? As in, they ditched the TCM and just had the ECU do everything cept ABS?

in that case... it's mounted to your left fender, opposite the battery.

'96 still used the TCM behind the lower dash panel, not sure about '97 & up
