anyone have a write up on mating the two of these together? For using the front shaft with the RE Hack and Tap kit.

Not really a writeup needed - you're talking about putting the H+T flange on a front driveshaft?
Swapping the left piece for the right piece?
There's nothing more involved to it than removing one while replacing u-joints, and replacing it with the other. Stu has a great writeup on this procedure at http://stu-offroad.com/axle/driveshaft/driveshaft-1.htm (page 2 especially)

thanks, thats what i thought but was confused because my new part did not come with a new centering ball, just a spring...l will transfer that
