ECM Rebuild

Anybody have any experience with having their ECM rebuilt? As some of you know, my ECM went out about a year ago. I managed to find a junkyard one. Well, I think it's starting to have "memory relapse" as lately most of the times when I crank it, it starts out running like the computer has been "reset". Now I'd like a spare just in case this one decides to let go.

Pull the cover off the old one and check out the capacitors. They had some leaky ones back in that era. Had to do the same thing to my 91 wrangler. I used this link http://www.stealth316.com/2-ecmremoval.htm to do it even though it was for a stealth.

If you take it apart and find some leaking caps let me know and I can send you some replacements for cheap. :)
