I am probably gonna get shit, but I have been searching for 2 days now. Does anyone have a Monroe # for rear shocks on a bastard lifted 89xj? I have looked throught the monroe book 2 times and cant seem to find anything longer then stock. I can find some where the holes on the top mounting are closer, but not the same. Thanks.

You can use 911021 (Reflex, or some equivalent from other series, they have the same termination 021), but I'd recommend you to do some mods...

1. Get rid of the cross-pin (cut it out) and get yourself or fab a BPE, I paid like 35USD to get them fabbed, but this is because I live in Mexico, in the US I would probably have orderded some BPE kit from some 4x4 dealer.
2. You need to get the lower mount modified on the shock so it fits on the pin; this is a really easy, 5 minutes job for someone who has the right tools.

You can check for other shocks in the Monroe dimension chart:

http://www.monroe.com/pdf/ShockAbsorberDimensionCharts.pdf

And the styles to compare:

The XJ has XP12 and L1 on the rear, so you need to find something compatible or adaptable; for the upper, all the options have XP7, so get rid of that cross-pin and install a BPE.
