sagged rear leafs

I own 00 XJ and would like to add some lift, 2" for now, eventually I would like to build my own leaf packs for 3-4" lift, but for now I was thinking of using some 1" blocks and possably some shackles, the shackles could be used even after I build my own leafs, my question is regarding the current condition of my leafs, they are sagged out guite a bit, almost straight, is it still a good idea to use blocks or shackles with sagged leafs? thanks for your time.

It could suffice until you do your own pack, but it better be quick. Putting blocks on sagged leafs will just wear them quicker.

how about shackles

shackles are a better option if you go with 1.5". A cheap leaf pack build up commonly known as the S10 bastard pack from a Chevy S10.

what would cause the rear to sit high? like higher then the fronts..

worn/sagging front springs.

air shocks or helper springs in the back.
