Fuel Injector Cups?

Just bought set of Ford 24lbs injectors for my stroker, but few plastic cups (in tip of the injector) are broken. will they work properly without those cups?

i would think not, but i dont know for sure. if they would run fine without them, why are they there in the first place?

just buy a rebuild kit for them that comes with new pintle caps and filter baskets

just bought rebuild kit from Ebay...... now i have to wait couple weeks before i can test how my stroker works with 24 lbs injectors....

mine runs rich, I would use the extra time to build a map adjustor, you will need it with the heavier injectors

i have MAP adjuster, about 5.8 volts with stock injectors.........

ok, good, you are probably gonna want to lean it out after the injectors come in
