LAST MINUTE Q!!

SLAYER

NAXJA Forum User
Ok ok, i know last minute rediculessness.
IVe got 2 hours before the store closes and have been wondering--
differences between the
Rubicon manufacturing twin tube shocks and the Doetch Tech 3000?
gas or hydrollic? I mean it looks as though the only difference is name but i could be wrong.
And have been looking into getting the Gabriel mono tubes.

i would go twin tube, they seem to stay cooler.

If you can spare a little extra change get the doetsch 8000 series shocks. I been running them for years an they've been great for me. They are a cellular gas shock that ride nice on the street and trail and they have built in bumpstops at max extension and compression.

Well i went with the RE twin tubes. And i must say they are very nice. I slapped em on as soon as i got home, packed up, picked up my friend and went on a 1 hour drive up to rollins lake for camping. I didnt have to say anything, he noticed right away how smooth the ride was. And the bastard fell a sleep the last 20 minutes of the ride.
:eeks1:
BTW i went to RE and got em for about 200 for all 4. Those bumm-sticks wouldnt even give me a free T-shirt. :rattle:

It seems strange that doetsch may not actually make their own shocks? I say this because as we all know, many companies sell a universal product under their own name. Ring & pinion companies do it all the time.

I was red flagged when i went to the doetsch web site:

Their shocks are called the exact same thing as:

http://www.roughcountry.com/shocks-stabilizers.htm

SO are they the same shock? Why would they have the same name and general description?
