weird clicking noise????

i got a 2000 xj with a 6 cyl and it has a weird clicking noise comming from where the distrubitor should have been but now they have some kinda short little sensor there... what inside of it?? is it spose to click... oh ya its got about 90000k on it...

First check the most common cause for clicking noise. Check your Flexplate bolts first. Do a search and you will find a few writeups on it.
