I am going to install a RE 4.5 kit which has the shackle and rear spring combo does anyone know if the exhaust needs to be modified for the longer shackle? There instructions say nothing about that...

dont need to re-route anything.. but your tailpipe will probably rattle on the shackle constantly.. i had a custom tail pipe bent up that ran up tight to the frame rail rather than hang down and be in the way.

yep, ditto to that, mine rattles on the clamp that holds the spring pack straight. Have a muffler shop cut it and turn it down. No biggie.
